• Any e-mail client will work with our servers if it supports POP3 or IMAP and outgoing authentication.
• All connections have the option to use StartTLS or SSL encryption
• The SMTP server requires authentication.
• User Name: user@yourdomain.com

Please use an SFTP compatible client such as WinSCP to access your file storage area. This is where all your web files will be located and any other misc you would like to upload.

SFTP Server Host:	sftp.knighthost.net
SFTP Server Port:	32
Remote Domain Folder:	yourdomain.com (without www. in front)
Remote Storage Folder:	general_files

If your client does not have a field for Port, then try setting the Host name to sftp.knighthost.net:32

You have access to MySQL & PostgreSQL databases for your account with Knight Host, however these databases are not setup by default.

You can request a database by including instructions on the signup page or by contacting support@knighthost.net

Upon your request, the database will be setup and information regarding access will be emailed to you. In order to use the database, you will need a database client installed on your machine.
