BILLING
Knight Host bills are sent out via email, unless specified for paper billing. Your statement is sent to the primary e-mail account provided during setup. All bills are sent out on the 1st of the month. Your first bill will be prorated at $0.33/day plus your first full month of service. All bills are due on the 25th of the month. If a bill reaches 30 days past due, your service will be suspended. All previous balances must be brought current before your account can be returned to active status. After 60 days past due, Knight Host reserves the right to remove all files, including e-mail, from our servers.

Customers have the option of paying monthly, semi-annually, and annually. If the customer chooses to pay in full annually, Knight Host will credit them one month of free service.

Qualified Non-Profits:
Monthly:$4.95   Semi-Annual:$27.70   Annual:$54.45
In order to qualify for non-profit prices we need a copy of the non-profit id number or other papers proving the company is non-profit before prices can be adjusted. The papers can be scanned and emailed to support@knighthost.net.

Your account starts with 5GB per domain for E-mail & Web file storage. If your account goes above this restriction there is an additional cost of $2.00 per month for each 1GB increment.

Knight Host reserves the right to alter pricing and additional charges at any time. All customers will be notified via their primary contact if such changes are made. This document will be updated at that time.

Payments can be sent by Visa/Mastercard via Paypal, Paypal account, US Check, money order, or cashiers check.
LEGAL RESTRICTIONS
Due to legal restrictions Knight Host will not backup e-mail messages or address books from our server. We recommend all of our clients use a local POP3 e-mail client such as Outlook, Outlook Express, or Thunderbird for e-mail storage.

Website files and home directories are backed up for faster response time in case of a server outage.
ABUSE
Knight Host respects "netiquette" and urges all of our users to be educated on the laws that govern the usage and distribution of content on the Internet.

Customers shall not use our service to perform, provide or allow anyone under its control, and must establish service agreements within their own customers that restrict them from doing any of the following:
  • Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Service and/or the Internet
  • Violate any local, state, or federal statute.
  • Upload, publish, transmit or be involved in the sales or transfer material that is protected by copyright or other properietary rights or derivate works without obtaining permission of the owner of said works.
  • Post a commercial advertisement to any newsgroup, chat room, bulletin board or form, if the said forum is not specifically used for public advertisement purposes.
  • Send Unsolicited Commercial E-Mail (aka, SPAM) to any e-mail users or lists.
  • Engage in any activitiy that could be deemed as an attempt to gain unauthorized access to a remote system or its resources, or to gain information that could assist in gaining unauthorized access such as port scanning, dictionary attacks, Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, server hijacking, etc.
  • Falsify any information provided to Knight Host.
  • Create or transmit material that is illegal in the United States, or in your country of origin. Child pornography is not permitted.
Under the direction of any court order, Knight Host will provide only government agencies with contact information on any client. No information will be released without a court order.

Refusal to follow these policies will result in an immediate suspension of services. Any content will be removed permanently and immediately from Knight Host servers.
